Anemolia Hotel is ideally located on one of Parga’s most amazing beaches, that of Sarakiniko. Its crystal clear, azure waters make it one of the most astonishing beaches of the Ionian coast. In the background, the islands of Paxoi and Corfu are discernable like beacons amidst the deep blue sea, beckoning you. The endless blue of our sky-meets-sea horizon is framed by a blooming garden bursting with many olive trees, other fruit bearing trees and various flowers, thus amplifying your sense of wellbeing and relaxation. Besides, this is the quintessential colour palette of Parga; where the unfathomable blue of the Ionian sea blends with the perennial green of its olive groves. However, as sundown approaches, our horizon is transformed from glorious blue to a majestic amalgam of yellow, orange and purple hues that create a sunset masterpiece in the sky.
Anemolia Hotel is situated only 11 km from the centre of Parga, 5 km from Agia village and 7 km from Anthousa village. Our location allows our guests to experience the best features of our region, in an effortless manner. Parga has a myriad of sites worth your time. A handful of beaches that cover a range of tastes, from those that are organised and exude a cosmopolitan flair (such as Valtos beach) to others that are more secluded and almost hidden. Springs that are agush with crystalline, potable water. Castles, fortresses, and picturesque churches found here and there complete the scenic visuals of Parga. Sauntering around the town of Parga you will come across the chapel of Panagia that occupies a small, verdant islet, a landmark of Parga. You will see the imposing Venetian Castle that will take you on a mental journey back in time.
Whichever cobblestone path you take and at every corner you turn, you will be met with a snapshot worthy frame. The visuals of Parga are one thing, but the scents and flavours are the second thing that is noteworthy. The local neighbourhoods are home to both posh restaurants, bars and cafes while others have a more traditional, more homey character where you can observe the locals go about their daily routine. Areas that are brimming with the fragrance of cinnamon, clover and other potted herbs, blooming flowers that grace the balconies, as well as the intoxicating scent of fresh laundry that has just been hung out to dry.
Anthousa village is literally inundated with olive and lemon trees. There you will find the Turkish Castle and a watermill, many cafes and restaurants as well as a mini market and pharmacy. Agia village is an even more picturesque, and is set on spot that can only be referred to as a landscape pier, offering amazing views of the Ionian that is strewn across its feet. Next, you are invited to discover the village of Perdika, the renowned Syvota and a number of gorgeous beaches (Karavostasi, Arillas and Agia Paraskevi) that are characterised by the typical turquoise waters that Parga can boast about. And the list carries on...
Parga has an abundance of archaeological attractions that are in close proximity to Anemolia Hotel.
